Network Pacific Records is run by musicians for musicians. We are a home for original music. We specialize in blues and contemporary jazz/fusion. We plan to expand our style roster in the near future (open to contemporary styles including Ska, Punk, and Heavy Metal). We believe in treating our artists well. We do not believe in putting creative limitations on musicians. We let the artists say what they wanna say and play the way they want to play.

PROJECTS: Our sampler series has worked out very well. It has given us a chance to get to know some talented artists from all over the globe. In the new year we will still do a few specialized samplers. We plan to focus most of our efforts on full length feature albums. We love live recordings and previously unreleased studio cuts.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Do you have something we should hear? We are a rare label that actually listens to all demos. All you have to do is send us the following:

1. CD FORMAT: Send us a CD. This works best for us. We do not download songs from web sites. We do not accept songs by email. Just get an envelope and put your CD in it.

2. If you have already released your CD it will probably not be of interest to us (unless you have Miles Davis and Eric Clapton as special musical guests). We want to have a unique catalog at NPR. We are looking for fresh unreleased projects. WE DO NOT OFFER DISTRIBUTION DEALS for your pre-pressed CD. We DO NOT WANT TO LISCENSE YOUR PRE-RELEASED ALBUM.

3. We are generally NOT INTERESTED in cover tunes (unless it's a Buddy Guy track with Buddy Guy as your musical guest). NPR is a home for original music. There are strict publishing laws in the USA. Cover tunes can be very cost damaging to a project.

4. PRESS KITS: We often review demos away from the office. So please include some information on yourself. A print out of your web site would be helpful. Show us what your all about. Please include things like: recent shows, national act openers, band bios, television and radio performance info, freelance experience with national acts (have we seen you before?), local music awards, etc. Don't worry if you have none of these things. We do check out new upcoming acts too. NO E- MAILED PRESS KITS PLEASE.
